What are the skills and responsibilities of being a snowboarder?
Knowing how to turn your board well. Having good air awareness. Being safe and ballsy at the same time. Packing and unpacking board bags at 4 in the morning. Not forgetting boots on the way to the zone. Being on point in the backcountry. Being a good snowmobiler. These are all pretty important.

What makes you want to progress?
Knowing that I’ll be able to ride better terrain.

How would you spend your ideal day?
Eating good food, shredding pow with the homies and spending time with my family.

What do you think is the most fun thing to do for yourself?
Not stressing and enjoying life, and being around people who have the same outlook.

What would you list as a career highlight?
Shredding powder on the regular and collecting memories that will last a lifetime.

Where there any notable trips in filming for Forum or Against’em?
Staying in Whistler for the winter and waiting for snow and light all at the same time can really eat at your brain. But once all the stars align just right, there’s no better place to be. I didn’t travel much this winter. I just tried to be patient and stay put in once place, that place being Whistler.

In what kind of snowboard environment are you most comfortable?
In a meter of blower on some untouched steeps.

If you weren’t snowboarding, you would be?
Playing soccer on Manchester United…yeah right.

What, if anything, is too serious to be joked about?
Getting caught in an avy. Not cool.

What was the last thing you regret buying?
Gas for my V8. I’ve gotta start riding my bike more often.

Where do you see yourself when you are 55 years old?
Cooped up in the woods back in Vermont.
