| The Romanian Forum Snake Session contest in H2O
Snowpark, Predeal featured a rainbow box competition for the youngsters.
Forum international rider Tudor Cristea came out to host the event, and despite the super cold, super icy conditions
, a decent sized group of dedicated shred soldiers gathered to duke it out on the frozen battlefield.
Despite the bulletproof conditions the snakers were stubborn enough to amaze the judges with their
best tricks and this year they displayed that they are not only very good riders, but also very fast learners.
In the end Vlad Voineseu came out on top impressing the judges with his consistent performance and smooth style.
The best 3 youngbloods left home with prizes of 1000 euros, a grip of Forum goods,
medals, and more girls on their arms than you could shake a stick at.

| INTERVIEW WITH THE WINNER - Vlad Voineseu |
Forum: When did you start riding and what did you do since then? Have you ever been in other competitions?
Vlad: I started snowboarding when I was 10 and I have been in every competition for fun when I got the chance!
Forum: What do you feel about Forum Youngbloof? Are you in next year?
Vlad: The contest was OK and probably I’ll ride next year too.
Forum: Which was your favorite trick in the competition? But the hardest?
Vlad: Favorite trick: Tailslide 270 Out
Hard trick: SW Noseslide 270 Out.
Forum: Did you like the session chose for Forum Youngblood Romania? Do you think that you would
have done a better job on other element?
Vlad: Sincerely, I would have preferred the kicker.
Forum: Forum Youngblood was for Romania one of the Stages of The Snowboarding Championship, until now you took the
lead and the experienced riders, how do you think the Great Final will be for you?
Vlad: I don’t believe that the classification shows the real value of the rider! For me, the Final will be exactly
like any other contest, only I will ride with the best Romanian riders and there will be smaller chances for me, but
I’m not interested as long as I have fun.
Forum: Where do you like to ride? Have you been abroad?
Vlad: The place I like the most is Nordpark from Innsbruck! I was in competitions in Italy, Austria, Bulgaria, Switzerland…
Forum: Which elements do you prefer for freestyling?
Vlad: Straight Box, Kink Rail and kickers.
Forum: What else do you do besides snowboarding? School, hobbies, music, other sports?
Vlad: Kitesurfing is my new sport and I can say that I’m enthusiastic, finally I found a summer sport for me! Other
hobbies are architecture and graphic arts. Regarding music I listen too all kinds of genres besides the cheap ones…
I listen to chillout, reggae, punk, hardcore music…
Forum: What do you think about this season with all the lack of snow in Romania?
Vlad: This was a great season for the competitions if you ask me, but I didn’t ride much because
I didn’t have the ground for it (the global warming it’s worrying me..).
Forum: Who inspired you, what made you start snowboarding and make performance out of it?
Vlad: Since I was little I wanted to ride, but I never thought that I will come to the point of
winning a competition. The rider who inspired me is Shaun White.
Forum: What are you doing this summer? Riding something or leaving with the board on your back to find snow?
Vlad: Kitesurf.
Forum: What future plans do you have, you and your board?
Vlad: Well, to get along very well, no?
Forum: Do your parents know what you’re doing? Do they encourage you?
Vlad: Yeah and totally…
Forum: What do you want to say to the younger riders who just started snowboarding?
Vlad: Ride for fun and don’t forget about the style!
