True to form, Peter Line never does anything in the traditional sense, and his stop of the Forum Youngblood contest was no different.
Instead of standing around and judging all day, Peter decided not to judge at all. No contest. No scores. He was out for a sick day of hitting this nice
quarterpipe and everyone else was going to hit it all day, too. So what exactly happened? In the morning the quarterpipe was still a bit icy so Cobra Dogs fired
up the hot dog cart and got everyone some free dogs.
At about noon, the sun warmed up the big ice wall and things started getting interesting. Everyone started hiking
the quarterpipe and dropping in. When I say everyone, I mean it. The park crew, the Snoqualmie marketing director, and a ton of kids…everyone was hitting that thing.
Peter’s mom even made an appearance to grab a cobra dog and tell a few good stories about him. Snoqualmie was pretty much going off all afternoon. We even had Peter’s former
teammate Willie Yli-Luoma and his buddy Sean McKay snaking in for a few spins. Just when you think this day can’t get any better someone gets a call from Jamie Lynn
who wants to know what’s shaking today. Are you serious? To top if all off, all the riders got some free Forum goodies. Snoqualmie is just too rad.
